Micropeel/Micropeel Plus
The Micropeel process safely and effectively removes a micro-thin outer layer of pore-clogged skin in a quick, 15-20 minute process. First, the skin is cleared of dead cellular debris with a five-minute physical or enzymatic exfoliant. Next, a 15-30 percent solution of alpha hydroxy acid is applied to help clear clogged pores. Finally, the outer layer of skin is frozen with a quick and gentle application of a dry ice ball. This freezing acts as an anti-inflammatory agent, helping to reduce the size of pores and remove damaged cells. In the Micropeel Plus system, an additional solution of salicylic acid is applied to the face to aggressively stimulate cell turnover and new growth.
