Ellie is a native of Saint Thomas in the U.S. Virgin Islands who has spent most of her life in Sarasota. Since receiving her degree in Business Administration from University of South Florida, Ellie has been involved in the medical field as a Director of Operations, Practice administrator and consultant. She came aboard at Hillstrom Facial Plastic Surgery as Practice Administrator in 2006. Hailing from the Caribbean, Ellie speaks English as well as her native Spanish and Italian. This helps to extend our hospitality to an international patient base. As the Practice Administrator she leads a highly-skilled and caring staff, overseeing our day-to-day operations, personnel, marketing and all business aspects of the practice.

Her extensive experience in the medical field, knowledge of technology and customer service make her a indispensable member of the team and an important resource for patients. Ellie loves to interact with people and enjoys nothing more than the patients’ smiling faces after they've seen the results of a dedicated team approach to their cosmetic needs. You will find her to be most helpful with any questions or concerns you may have regarding our practice. Her hobbies and interests include spending time with her family at the beach, boating, swimming, biking, and then some more boating!

     

    Sophia CloeSophia CloeCosmetic Liaison

    Sophia joined Hillstrom Facial Plastic Surgery after specializing in patient care for over 10 years. A native of the Pacific Northwest, Florida has been her adoptive home for the past 11 years. As our Cosmetic Liaison you will meet Sophia at your first consultation, and she navigates our patients seamlessly through their pre-operative education and postoperative care and follow-up. Sophia is here specifically to ensure that each patient receives the very best care from our office. Sophia and her husband John enjoy beach trips with the family and fishing trips with their son.

      Kimberly GiangKimberly GiangRN | BSN

      Kimberly, or “Kimmy” as she is known to us, is a native Floridian. She is an alumnus of the University of West Florida where she earned her degree in nursing. She has been involved in cosmetic medicine her entire career with previous experience in dermatology and general plastic surgery. She joined Hillstrom Facial Plastic Surgery as Nurse Manager and oversees the clinical and surgical aspects of the facility. You will see Kimmy from your first consultation all the way through your surgical experience, including pre-operative education, operating room assistance, post-operative care, and patient follow-up. She personally assists Drs. Hillstrom and Wright in the operating suite and her dedication to excellence make her a valuable member of the team. She is currently collecting milestones, such as completing a Master’s Degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner, and recently becoming engaged!

        Nicole WasilkoNicole WasilkoPatient Coordinator

        Nicole joined Hillstrom Facial Plastic Surgery in August 2015. As a Patient Coordinator, Nicole will facilitate your consultation and make sure we do our best to maximize your access to your insurance to enable full realization of your benefits. Nicole maintains our surgery schedule and guides patients through the process from consultation to surgery and beyond. She is often the first point of contact to answer any questions you may have. Nicole is from Cleveland, Ohio and has been residing in Sarasota for three years. In her spare time she enjoys exercising, the beach, and spending time with her family.

          Rebecca TuteraRebecca TuteraPatient Care Coordinator

          Rebecca’s is often the first smiling face that our patients encounter at Hillstrom Facial Plastic Surgery! As Patient Care Coordinator she assists the office with scheduling appointments, check-in and check-out patients as well as assisting Drs. Hillstrom and Wright with patient information. Rebecca is a native of the Midwest but has lived in Florida since 1995. She is happily married to Gino and has a son and three stepchildren. Rebecca enjoys the Florida weather and enjoys beach time with her family and friends, as well as bike rides and fitness.

            Kristin LawsonKristin LawsonSurgical Scrub Technician

            Like Dr. Hillstrom, Kristin hails from Michigan. She moved to Florida nearly 10 years ago for fun & sun & career -- she holds an Associates Degree of Science in Surgical Technology from Keiser Career College. When asked why they enjoy working with Kristin, Drs. Hillstrom & Wright easily reply “because of her attention to detail and enthusiasm.” Here at Hillstrom Facial Plastic Surgery, in our fully-accredited OR suite, Kristin is an integral part of the team and is responsible for setting up the supplies prior to all surgical procedures and maintaining a sterile environment. Throughout the procedures she anticipates what is needed and hands the surgeon the required instrument, often “reading their minds” as many experienced surgical techs do. Kristin is a perfectionist throughout and, coupled with her effusive sense of humor, is sure to put a smile on your face. She is married to Danny, a licensed massage therapist (www.DJLawson.com) who allows her to consider their two cats “their children.”

              Constance WagnerConstance WagnerBSN | RN

              Constance has been nursing in a wide variety of medical setting for thirty-seven years. She has been a member of the Hillstrom Facial Plastic Surgery nursing staff for the past thirteen years where she assists in the operating room and provides non-surgical care to patients. One of the most rewarding aspects of her position at HFPS is patient education, recognizing that a well-informed patient promotes a positive surgical experience. Several years ago, Connie took a sabbatical from nursing to complete a Fine Art Photography degree from Ringling School of Art and Design, and photography continues to be her chosen avocation. Connie has also spent time as a volunteer nurse at medical clinics in Freetown, Sierra Leon and Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.

                Carla DineCarla DineR.T. (R); Medical Assistant

                Carla has been with Hillstrom Facial Plastic Surgery since July of 2013. A native of New England, Carla has lived in South Florida since 2012. When asked why she moved here, she says “The beaches are better!” Carla is happily married to Andrew, who works in Sarasota as an Orthopedics Representative, and they have three beautiful children. She enjoys staying active with hot yoga, running and keeping up with her children.

                She has gained knowledge in various roles over the years and has skills in clinical support, surgery scheduling, and patient treatments. Carla assists the doctors in the operating room as well as guiding patients through pre- and post operative care. She has been helpful in providing our patients with her understanding of specific procedures and facilitating the process of scheduling surgery. She works closely with the local hospitals and surgery center to ensure proper scheduling of surgeries and appointments. Carla has prior extensive experience in other outpatient and hospital settings.

                  Yana SvidunovichYana SvidunovichRN | Nurse Manager

                  Yana came to Hillstrom Facial Plastic Surgery after years of providing care for patients in the field of dermatology. She was born in Russia and moved to the Pacific Northwest of the US when she was young – so although she speaks Russian fluently, you won’t hear much of an accent! She came to Florida in her early teens, received her nursing degree from the State College of Florida. She graduated with Honors as one of the youngest new RNs in her class. Her professional interests include cosmetic treatments for aging skin, skin cancer education, surveillance, and treatment, and comprehensive skin health.

                  Now, she applies her knowledge with emphasis on patient education pre- and post-operatively in a variety of cosmetic procedures, assistance with procedures, and all of the specialized follow-up care.

                  In her spare time, she loves to debate medical issues with her husband Mike, a Physical Therapist assistant, and also enjoys the cinema and literature, and play time with her dog Teddy.
